Products Features

  • Quad-Mode - In the Quad Mode, the screen is split into four fields of equal size with the entire screen content of a video source or computer being displayed in each of these fields. Keyboard and mouse operation can be selected to the field of the corresponding computer.

  • FullScreen Mode - In the FullScreen Mode, one of the four computers` video sources is displayed in full screen size and maximum resolution. Keyboard and mouse operation automatically switch to the corresponding computer.

  • PiP Function - In the PiP Function, the full screen display of one of the four video sources is accompanied by one or three small images (thumbnails) containing the other video sources on the right-hand margin of the screen allowing simultaneous monitoring.

  • Operation - Switching between the three display modes and keyboard and mouse operation is done by using either push-buttons on the front panel or by programmable hotkeys on console keyboard.

    V-Switch quad enables users to display and monitor video signals from four different computers or video sources simultaneously on a single screen with keyboard and mouse operation.

    V-Switch quad processes analog and digital video signals via DVI-I connections.

    V-Switch quad allows users to attach computers to their keyboard and mouse either via PS/2 or USB interface.

    V-Switch quad can be used with HETEC„§s KVM over IP extender V-IP in order to operate remotely. This allows users to administrate and control all devices connected to V-Switch quad from any location using any web client via LAN/Internet.

    Typical areas of application are workstations in supervisory systems, process control centers, server farms etc. Utilization of the V-Switch quad is particularly effective in a large-scale KVM switching system. In such a configuration, video signals from any four computers out of a larger pool of servers can be displayed and administered.
