DVI Extender Specifics

DVI Extenders, (DVI over CAT5), enables users to extend their digital video DVI up to 300ft away from the DVI video source via Cat5/Cat5e/CAT6 UTP or STP cables. CAT5 DVI Extender units are sold in pairs (Transmitter and Receiver). The transmitter connects to the DVI video source and the receiver connects to the DVI monitor. We offer industrial grade DVI extenders that are used in commercial, digital signage, rugged military and government environments, boardrooms, airports, malls, tradeshows, and hospitals. We sell two types of DVI Extender kits. One set uses UTP Cat5/Cat5e/Cat6 cables and other set uses CAT6 STP cables.

These DVI over Cat5 Extender units come with CE, FCC, and RoHS certifications. The key features are excellent video quality with no signal degradation, supports video resolutions up to 1900x1200@60Hz, simple plug and play, small form factor, user selectable DDC information, compatible with major operating systems and devices with DVI-D connectors, and LED indicator. DVI extender can be combined with DVI Matrix Switch and DVI Splitter units for more complex applications. KVM Switch Tech also offers DVI Splitter Extender over CAT5/Cat6 cables and DVI Fiber Extender cables. Cat5 DVI Extender Splitter enables users to display the same image from one DVI video source on to multiple DVI monitors. Cat5 DVI Splitter Extender units are used for advertising, multimedia, and signage applications.
